As long as I have known Marie, she has been doing the work. Of witnessing the world around her with clarity. Of witnessing herself with clarity. Of returning to embodiment. Of interrupting patterns of trauma and violence that weave through religion, culture, pedagogy and economy, as well as those that have touched her personally.
She is someone who carries immense internal strength, and calls to that strength in others. There is a rightness to her work as the Pagan Pastor. It is a role that allows her to offer all that she has learned (through rigorous study as well as disciplined self-work) in service of people coming home to themselves, and to the divine presence that persists in the heart of that homecoming.
Marie is someone I trust immensely, because of the way she holds herself and because of how she holds her work. She speaks and acts with integrity and groundedness, and is able to bring that resonance into relationship with the divine. And has shown and supported me in trusting myself to do the same, in ways that fit with the particulars of my humanity. It is a gift to know and work with Marie, and I hope that you take the opportunity as it aligns for you.

I felt safe(r) having Marie there. Her attentive presence enabled me to relax and go into my experience without worrying about the logistics of the external world. Whenever I needed her, she (or her collaborator) was there looking at me with a peaceful, happy face, eager to help support me. I was able to go much deeper and have a more positive and fruitful experience because of Marie’s presence there.
Marie maintained a steady, positive, attentive presence and danced well between giving space and providing support. I was grateful that she did not try to “overdo” it and instead allowed the experience to unfold organically. I also never felt dropped or abandoned, and I knew that if I asked for something and she was able to provide it, she would do her best to do so. Overall, a solid performance all around!
It was nice to drop in beforehand and set the container. We were able to discuss several important boundaries, fears, desires, and intentions – I felt that led to a much better experience day-of where we were able to drop in and trust that our expectations were aligned.
It was nice to know Marie was available afterwards. I really appreciated Marie being clear and up front about her capacity and what I can expect from her. Clear communication made it easier to get my needs met while honoring her boundaries.
One thing that stood out to me about Marie was her diligence. She took notes throughout the experience, from the prep work to the day-of and even typed them up and shared them afterwards. I felt this to be quite professional and not something that I expected her to do. She rocks and after sharing this experience, I feel much more positive about engaging her in this capacity in the future.

Marie has an uncanny ability to listen to the seeming gibberish that comes out of my mouth when I answer a question she asks me — and then reflect back to me what it was I actually trying to say.
I have been meeting regularly with Marie for the past few months. I’ve studied a number of different spiritual frameworks during my lifetime (a few decades longer than her’s) and find myself regularly surprised and grateful by and for her deep wisdom and knowledge. It’s clear to me that Marie has integrated and embodied her discoveries and life experiences during her life’s journey so far.
This gives Marie a powerful vantage-point from which to advise others. She helps us to find our unique path— and to then join us in wandering down that path a bit.
As an older person I am invigorated by the opportunity to hear from her younger point of view how she sees spirit playing and supporting us in our world as it is today.
My interactions with Marie deepen my spiritual practice and open new areas for my inquiry. She helps me to be more aware, opens my heart and mind to what is happening around me, and helps me to discover the options I have for growing.
